Beef Boning Unit
Beef Boning UnitRobotic Technologies (RTL) Beef Boning Unit is a stand alone, easily integrated and operated manual assist device specially developed for the beef boning industry to make boning less physically demanding. With a simple mounting arrangement and easily adjustable force and speed circuit, the Beef Boning Unit is easily adapted to any boning rail.
A pivoting arm design driven by a pneumatic actuator provides an operator with a high level of control over the speed and force with which the operator can apply to a pulling task. An interchangeable stainless hook is attached to the handpiece to imitate the manoeuvrability and flexibility of a hand held meat hook with the ability to customise hooks for various tasks.
By aiding tasks that require pulling such as the boning of aitchbones and knuckles, the unit has been proven to reduce worker fatigue, strain injuries, increase the potential labour pool, lead to an increase in yield and in cases, increase chain speed.
