Scott Technology Limited was established in Dunedin, New Zealand in 1913 as J & A.P. Scott Limited. Scott Technology's association with the appliance industry dates back to the 1940's when Scott manufactured appliances in NZ in the post war days. This has changed and the company now specialises in the design and build of automated production lines for the world's leading appliance manufacturers.

Scott Technology became a listed public company on the New Zealand stock exchange in 1997. During Scott's lifetime the company has operated in many engineering fields and is now a leading manufacturer of automated production and process equipment.
