The RTL VisionThe X-Ray and Primal system was stage one of RTL's automated boning room to be commercially released. The primal system cuts the carcass into the hindquarter, middle and forequarter. The cuts are identified through the RTL x-ray system.

Stage two is the Hindquarter system. These are now commercialised for production.

Stage three of the RTL vision is the Future Development, the Bone-In Cuts project encompassing the main bone-in cuts of the middle and forequarter.  This final stage of the boning vision is scheduled for commercial release in 2009.
